The St. Louis County Police Department Central County Precinct will host a “Citizens Police Academy” at the Parkway School District’s Instructional Service Center, located at 12657 Fee Road. The classes will be held on six consecutive Tuesdays, beginning on April 7, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with graduation on May 12, 2015.

The sessions will focus on how police officers patrol their beats, conduct traffic stops and investigate crime. Law enforcement professionals in the fields of Homicide, Robbery, Burglary, Drug Enforcement, Tactical Operations, and the Crime Scene Unit instruct classes.

The academy is open to all St. Louis County residents and is free of charge. Advanced registration is required and seating is limited.
