According to KMOV.com, St. Louis police shot two men Saturday night around 9 o’clock in the 4900 block of Maffitt, near North Kingshighway and St. Louis Avenue.
The shooting happened when the two men exited a vehicle police had been pursuing. Police say six officers fired at the men when the two pointed weapons at the officers. Police recovered those weapons at the scene.
Jordan Walls,19, died at the scene. Tyrone Walls, 22, was shot in the arm. He’s charged with assault on a law officer and resisting arrest.
No St. Louis police officers were injured. Per department policy, all six officers were involved in shooting were placed on administrative leave.
Police say the pursuit began when officers saw the vehicle leaving the scene of a shooting that happened in the 4000 block of St. Louis Ave. around 8:30 p.m. A man, 19, was shot in the arm.
