Susan Smith, a chef in the Ferguson-Florissant School District, has been named the Southwest Foodservice Excellence (SFE) Catering Chef of the Year.
Each year SFE, the district’s Arizona-based food vendor, presents awards for exceptional performance throughout the company. Smith has catered events for numerous SFE accounts and has been commended for her originality, attention to detail and flavorful dishes.
She was recognized at the district’s March Board of Education meeting by Superintendent Joseph Davis and Board of Education Vice President Dr. Courtney Graves.
