St. Louis police are investigating the murder of 17-year-old Anthony Walker, who was found shot to death along railroad tracks in the 6000 block of Gladys Avenue.
Walker, who lived in the 8300 block of Church Road, had been shot twice in the back of the neck.
Police were called just before 2 a.m. after people heard several shots. Near the victim’s body, they found a pick-up truck that had been hit by several bullets. All of the truck’s windows had been shot out.
Police say it appears several males in another vehicle had been chasing the truck and firing shots at it. The first shots were reported in the 5600 block of Mimika; more shots were then heard at Mimika and Gladys.
No suspects were under arrest Wednesday morning.
