Three people were hospitalized after a wreck involving a Missouri Department of Transportation vehicle happened on Interstate 70 in north St. Louis County early Tuesday morning.
According to police, a MoDOT worker was outside his vehicle on I-70 near Hanley Rd. collecting debris on the roadway around 2:15 a.m.
Police told KSDK.com that the driver of a pickup truck didn’t see the vehicle and slammed into the back of it.
The worker and two people in the pickup truck were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
