Verizon Wireless is continuing its commitment to the community by partnering with 100 Black Men and The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis and The Urban League of Greater Cleveland to celebrate ‘Everyday Heroes’ in four major metropolitan areas – including St. Louis.
“Everyday Heroes come from all walks of life—some are teachers, mentors, foster parents, volunteers or just ordinary people doing extraordinary things,” Verizon said on its Everyday Heroes website. “Show your appreciation for their selfless acts of service by listening to their stories, voting for your favorites and sharing their videos to inspire others! Think of your votes as a way of saying, ‘THANK YOU’ to a hero who deserves it.”
Simply watch the videos below and log in to Verizon Insider to vote on your favorite semi-finalist in each city. One winner from each city will win $500 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2!
Finalists from St. Louis, Indianapolis, Cleveland and Chicago all have a chance to be named ‘Everyday Heroes’ from their respective city.
Come back daily through February 17 to cast your votes. Only one vote per video is permitted each day. And as an added bonus, each vote gets you an entry into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a tablet from Verizon Wireless.
