Wedding Bells were ringing at a memorable wedding on a brisk Gary, Indiana day. The marriage was celebrated by an intimate group of friends and family on November 10, 2023, at 12:30 PM. The bride, Geonna Peden, and the groom was native St. Louisan Jordan Bosman, Sr. The venue, the Aquatorium at Miller Beach in Gary was perfect. A pop-up wedding of sorts; Jordan proposed to Geonna in September on her birthday and decided a week before the wedding, he was ready to call her wifey. Family and friends who couldn’t make the wedding were zoomed in, so their day was technically current and special. The couple has two lively sons Jordan, Jr. (2) and Jaxon (9 months).
Jordan, Sr. is the son of Dwayne Bosman (Patricia) and Annette Michelle Glover. Dwight (Cenia), the other half of the talented Bosman Twins duo is Jordan, Sr.’s uncle. Jordan Sr.’s brothers Brandon “Hotsauce” Glover and Clayton McMurtry were in attendance and charged with watching their nephews for the day. Sister Mia McMurtry and family and brother Taylor Rand were there in spirit from Oklahoma and Los Angeles respectively. Uncle Harry Colbert Jr. (MinnPost Managing Editor) sent love and prayers from Minneapolis Best wishes to Jordan and Geonna!
Speaking of Brandon “Hotsauce” Glover, the St. Louis grown and nationally known comedian. He recently released his self-produced and directed comedy show video, “Taking the Gloves Off” available at www.saucevision.com.
Later that evening in St. Louis, Missouri, Better Family Life’s 35th Annual Unity Ball was a huge success. The Masquerade Ball where many guests traditionally don African attire kept staff at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Clayton, Missouri, busy. The event featured in our November 14th edition themed “Then, Now, Next” recognized St. Louisans who have and will continue to devote their lives to our community.
