(AP) — A published report says federal investigators are looking into real estate deals involving the governor’s wife and whether commissions were traded for political favors.

Rod and Patricia Blagojevich aren’t accused of any wrongdoing.

But the Chicago Tribune today reports that real estate agent Mary Bennett says FBI agents want her to explain why she added the governor’s wife as a second real estate agent in a 2004 home sale.

Bennett says she did so at the request of the homeowner, who was a Blagojevich campaign donor. Bennett says the first lady received about $32,000 in the deal.

Blagojevich spokeswoman Abby Ottenhoff says no one has informed the administration that Patricia Blagojevich is under investigation and that she’s done nothing wrong.
