According to KSDK.com, a mother is facing charges for forcing her daughter to fight in Normandy.
Police say the mother told them other kids were threatening her child, so she decided to take the fight to them.
Vernita Bruce reportedly told them three 13 year old girls were threatening her 13 year old daughter.
Police say Bruce drove up and down Natural Bridge Road with her daughter looking for the girls as they walked home from Normandy Middle School. They say when Bruce spotted the girls she pulled over and both she and her 25 year old daughter, LaToya Christian, told the girls to fight.
Both women are now facing multiple charges of endangering the welfare of a child.
