Missouri’s annual Unclaimed Property Auction begins Thursday in Columbia, with more than 2,000 items available for bidding.
The two-day auction starts at 9 a.m. Thursday and Friday at the Hilton Garden Inn Conference Center. Items generally come from safe deposit boxes left unclaimed for about five years. Proceeds remain available for the owners or their heirs to claim.
Last year’s auction generated more than $319,000, the highest total in 15 years.
