Sister Vera Boykin, international evangelist for the Church of God in Christ, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018. An educator, Boykin gained world notoriety as a faith healer in 1940 at the Kennerly Temple Church. A member of Bostick for 60 years, she conducted revivals across America. She adopted nine Eritrean children and brought them to St. Louis to a better life.
