Charles E. McNeil, Jr., son of Charles E. McNeil, Sr. and Julia (Taylor) McNeil, was born on March 10, 1951 in St. Louis, MO and departed this life on March 21, 2010. He was 59 years old.
“Charlie,” as he was called by family and friends, was one of six children and a graduate of DeAndreis High School in 1970. He was a hardworking man whose favorite pastimes were basketball, movies, being with friends, and “s-l-e-e-p-i-n-g” being his most enjoyable leisure activity.
Charlie had one daughter after high school with Ms. Dyanne Nashville of St. Louis.
To his family, friends and those who knew him, Carles E. McNeil, Jr. is remembered as a very kind and thoughtful person. He dedicated to taking care of his mother during the last years of his life. He will truly miss her “#1 Hamburger.”
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. McNeil, Sr.; his sister, Karon M. McNeil; and brother, Michael T. McNeil. He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Jasmine Monique McNeil; his mother, Julia M. McNeil; sisters, Sharon McNeil, Vicki (McNeil) Cotton, and Denise McNeil; aunts, Carrie L. Perry, Winnie Taylor, and Dorothy Taylor; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and true friends.
