Deborah Ann Hale-Fayne
September 17, 1954 n September 28, 2008
Deborah Ann Hale-Fayne was born in St. Louis to Tyree W. Hale and Dorothy Alexander Hale, both of whom preceded her in death.
After finishing Hempstead Elementary School and Sumner High School, Deborah attended Lincoln University and Harris Teacher’s College.
Deborah had a deep love for children and worked in the instructional arena since 1997 in the St. Louis Public Schools, most recently at Stix Elementary School. She also spent many years nurturing young children, holding a number of positions with various agencies, including ECHO and Grace Hill.
Deborah leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Gregory Fayne, a wonderful son, Dimitri Hale, and stepchildren Gregory and Candice. Her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and James Balls and their son and daughter, James III and Joyce, will also miss her immensely. Many other relatives and friends mourn her passing, but rejoice in her triumphant entrance into the Kingdom of the Lord.
The Rev. Dr. James T. Morris, pastor of Lane Tabernacle C.M.E. Church, Deborah’s church home for over 50 years, presided over her homegoing celebration on Monday, October 6, 2008.
