Our beloved mother, Fairy Dean Thomas (Foxworth) completed a full life of caring for her family and service to the community on April 30, 2010.

Fairy was born to Alcus and Alice Foxworth on March 6, 1931 in Tylertown, Mississippi but moved with her parents to St. Louis in 1943.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Sr., as well as both her parents and her brothers, Eugene, Robert and Charles. She also leaves to mourn her passing eight children: Floyd Jr, Eric, Denise, Vakila, Wendy, Douglas, Jeffrey, and Sonya.

Fairy worked hard to support her family by working as a seamstress at Curlee Clothing and Biltwell Mfg. in St Louis for over 40 years until her retirement.

Fairy was also fully involved for many years in the activities of her church, Carter Instl. C.M.E., the Order of the Eastern Star in Missouri, Modesta Pearl Chapter #22 PHA, and Daughters of Isis, Medinah Court #15 where she served on many committees.

She will be well remembered for her fondness of gardening, passion for dancing and common-sense approach to life. Though she also developed a flair for wearing stylish apparel, she never forgot that she was raised a simple country girl who remembered her down home roots. We miss her.
