Hattie Thomas was born in Hope, Arkansas September 2, 1922 to Andrew and Bertha Carmon..
She accepted Christ in her life at an early age. Hattie attended Bethlehem M. B. Church under the leadership of Rev. E. F. Williams for over 35 years; as choir director and pianist.
She moved to St. Louis in 1945 where she met and wed Lois Thomas. To this union, eight children were born, She taught by example the importance’s of keeping Christ first in their lives.
Hattie was a faithful member of Shiloh M. B. Church under the leadership of Rev. J. D. Clark. Hattie was a strong woman of God, full of wisdom and knowledge. She never hesitated to speak the truth and share God’s word with everyone.
Hattie affectionately know as (MeMe) made sure the family spent special holidays together, everyone was always welcome.
On March 26 at 12:30 am God called Hattie home to everlasting peace. She was preceded in death by her parents, three children, three brothers and two sisters.
Hattie leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband of 70 years, Lois; son Jerry (Wanda), daughters: Katherine (Willard), Lindell (James), Hattie, Angela. Son-in-law, Andy Jumper. Daughter-in-Law, Norma Thomas. Sisters: Hazel Garland, Helen Walker (Calvin), Bernice Wilson, Betty Easter, Dorothy Wilson.13 grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, other Family and Friends.
