Clarence Davis, Jr. 71, died on December 28, 2018, surrounded by family and friends at Beauvais Manor on the Park-Long Term Care Facility.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Ida Mae (Whitfield) Davis; sister, Joyce Ann Eaton; brother in-law, David Eaton; granddaughter, Ronisha Jones; foster brother, Michael Flowers.  He is survived by his son, Rondy Jones, I (Shontia); daughter Angela Davis (Nathan Rasmussen); grandchildren Rondy II, Joshua and Shai Jones, Joshua and Nicholas Rasmussen; father, Clarence Davis, Sr. (Laurrein Jacqueline); Sister, Linda Archer (Carl); brother Cornelius (Christine); a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and colleagues.  Clarence’s career included Mentor and Director of Sophia House college prep program, Organization Development Consultant to Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN school systems, Police Departments, Colleges and Universities, for profit companies and community organizations. He cofounded Millennial Tutoring Academy for students in grades K-12, with his sister and Brother-in-law, where he worked until his retirement.  

Clarence loved teaching throughout his life and his one last opportunity to make a positive difference in student education was to give the ultimate gift by becoming a member of the Body Donor Program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.  

Memorial Service: Saturday June 22, 2019 at 10:30 am. St. John’s United Church of Christ, 4136 North Grand Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63107.  

Flowers may be sent to the church.  Contributions on behalf of Clarence Davis, Jr. may be sent to St. Louis Society for the Blind or the American Lung Association.
