July 7, 1931 – May 15, 2018
Elsa(Max) was the youngest child of Charles W. Sydnor and Lorain a A. (Saunders) Sydnor. Max was instrumental in opening and running Reid Laboratories a groundbreaking minority owned business at the time. After leaving there she went on to work at DePaul hospital where she worked as a supervisor for more than 20 years. She was proceeded in death by both her parents and siblings. She leaves to cherish her memories, Sandra Lynn (Thomas) Reid-Smith, Kim Reid, Clyde (Sharnell) Reid and Janette Reid. Five grandchildren – Adam, Bethany and Rebekah Reid and Thomas and Sydney Smith and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives.
