Harold “Slo” Mabrey passed away after a long illness on Sunday, January 21, 2018. He was 84. Originally from Pittsburg and Dallas, Texas, “Slo” graduated from Lincoln University in 1955. That same year he married classmate Barbara Johnson and was drafted into the Army. After serving two years, he worked 35 years as a civilian procurement officer for Army Aviation, being promoted to Senior Executive Service (SES). He earned an MBA from George Washington University and also attended the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. Left to mourn are his wife Barbara, three children: Vicki, Lesley (Kimberly Reed), and Kevin; two grandchildren, Sienna and Grant; and many in-laws, family, and friends. Interment is at Jefferson Barracks, Wednesday, January 31st at 12:30.
