Shirline Getter, 89, St. Louis, Missouri, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald, of 53 years. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons Darryl and Derrick; a daughter-in-law, Yolanda; three grandchildren, Derrah, Derrick, Jr., and Donovan; nephews and nieces; and a host of cousins, friends, and sorors of Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA).
Service: The visitation will be Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., at New Cote Brilliante Church of God (6195 Washington Blvd., St. Louis, MO). The AKA dedication and funeral service will immediately follow at 10:00 a.m. with interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
