Survived by his wife of 59 years, Cecilia (Vaughn), his son, Philip Sr. (Rita) and his daughter Faith. Two grandchildren, Philip Jr. (Holly) and Rachel. Born in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Jerome and Lucille Cannon Boone. One of 7 children, all who preceded him in death. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served in Korea and in England. He worked for the
U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years.
