Kevin V. Heard, Sr., age 55, a St. Louis native and retired U.S. Army veteran, departed this life on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. Kevin was born on June 12, 1959, to the union of Robert E. Heard, Sr. and LaVerne Warren. Kevin is survived by his mother, LaVerne Heard; his son, Kevin Vernell Heard, II (April); siblings, Brenda D. Anderson, Robert E. Heard, Jr., Patria D. Heard, Janice D. Heard, Richard D. Heard; four grandchildren, Takhila Heard, Kevin Heard, III, Christian and Cameron Edwards; and a host of other relatives and friends.
