Magalene Jeanette Wallace-Hamilton (Mag) was the youngest of nine children born to the union of William McKinley and Rachel Wallace in Tunica, Mississippi on August 31, 1935. She was married to the Rev. Dr. Arthur L. Hamilton, Sr. of St. Louis, Missouri (founder of St. Timothy M. B. Church), who preceded her in death. Devoted Christian, wife, mother, neighborhood activist and friend to many, she leaves to cherish her memory: six children; Patricia Shegog, Linda Dyson, Alison Johnson, Anita (Walter) Brandon, Arthur L. Jr. (Andrea) and Mitzi (Juan) Hurd; one brother, Strauther Wallace; sixteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
