Milton Holmes

Milton Holmes, Renowned Artist, transitioned August 27th 2015.  Holmes, a native St. Louisan, attended the St. Louis Public Schools.  He went to Antioch University in Springfield, OH with school scholarship.  After one year, Holmes was drafted into  the military and served for one year.  Holmes then attended Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City, Missouri. 

His unique style of pen and ink made his work stand alone in the art world.  His work was also recognized in the United States Library Congress October,1988 in Washington, D. C.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Ellen, his mother Easter Holmes, one brother, Earl Holmes, two sisters Sheila (AL), Patricia Moss, one daughter, Asha, three sons Christopher (Michelle) Daoud, and Anwar, nine grandchildren, one special significant friend, Janet Henley Katzenberger and a host of relatives and friends.
