Opal Gwendolyn Simms (nee Hudson) of St. Louis County, MO, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the age of 74. She was a Sumner High School alumna of 1953, and a retired employee of the VA and DOD Army.
She was the daughter of the late Willie Miller Hudson and Velva Mae (nee Morton) Hudson; beloved mother of Michael Wayne and Craig Wesley Simms; sister of Frencella K. Bonner, the late Frederick H. Hudson, Mable L. Blair, the late Robert C. Hudson, Virgil E. (Lessie) Hudson and Eloise B. Hunt of St. Louis; beloved aunt, cousin, foster mom of Christopher Beasley.
