Ronald Smiley, an Anheuser -Busch Corporate Affairs retiree, proud life member of Alpha Phi

Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Saint Louis, Missouri, where he was a Past President. Ron was the recipient of the Epsilon Lambda Man of the Year Award, the Daniel Bowles Community Service Award, and the William Alexander Leadership Award. Ron also served as Chairman of the Alpha Redevelopment Corporation, where his dedication and advocacy for quality housing for Senior Citizens was unwavering. While in St Louis, Ron was also an active member of the Royal Vagabonds. His commitment to Civil Rights was indicated by his long time participation with the NAACP, the Urban League and the United Negro College Fund.

 

Ron, leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Lynne Smiley of Redondo Beach, California, his two sisters, Dolores and Sandra, Saint Louis, Missouri, his cousin, Reginald Foster, Saint Louis, Missouri, nieces and nephews, his true friend and brother Wayne C. Harvey, as well as acquaintances far and near.
