Victoria Johnson was born March 29, 1971 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Victor Brazel and Shirley Johnson. Her family and close friends called her NeNe. Victoria was the oldest of four children. Her brother Damon and sister Catina along with another sister Katina who was later, lovingly adopted by her mother, looked up to her with great respect and love.
Victoria accepted Christ at an early age, however she rededicated her life to Christ while attending St. Louis Christian Center in St. Louis. She joined the Victory Christian Outreach Church family in July of 20008, where more family and friends embraced her. Victoria was a graduate of University City High School and attended Saint Louis Community College at Forest Park. She worked for more than ten years at Grandpa Pigeons (Value City) Department Store. Her work history also included Aetna Health Care where her work career ended in 2001. In 2003 she met and married Johnny Donelson.
Victoria enjoyed taking care of all children. Her own sons, Ron, Nick and Tez were the love of her life and her motivation to persevere. She made any child that came into her life feel special. She had an exceptional love for her nieces and nephews. She was their second mother. She was always a joy to be around and made sure everyone felt welcome in her company. She loved and embraced life. NeNe’s home was always open to every person she met. Whenever NeNe was around there was never a dull moment.
Victoria leaves cherished memories of her life to her three sons, Ronald White III, Nicholas Clark and Demontez Clark; her mother, Shirley Johnson Clark; her brother Damon; her sister Catina; brother-in-law, Martez, and her adopted sister Katina Redditt.
