The saga of the 6th Ward Organization’s endorsement for its alderman continues. Kacie Starr Triplett’s work in adding a number of new members (many of them black) to the organization’s rolls has not been stymied, but all the candidates have been given another week (the new deadline is today) to register new members, who can then vote for the endorsement. A dejected Triplett now has called the endorsement “damaged goods,” but she’ll need to get accustomed to power plays and dirty tricks if she wants to work her way up.
