Claire McCaskill’s more cautious strategists will be taking a break soon from their relentless pandering to the (white, rural) center and bring their candidate to the city. They plan to have her present her “agenda for the community” (when they talk about “the community,” ain’t it always the black community?) on Oct. 28 at Harris-Stowe. They plan to invite incumbent Republican Senator Jim Talent. Those black folks standing up for the white man with the F on his NAACP legislative report card should start getting their act together now.
