House Minority Whip Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), one of the Democrats’ most strident voices against disgraced Mark Foley and the Republican cover-up of his perverse behavior, was branded this week in a Republican press release and email chain for her “involvement with the Socialist Progressive Caucus.”
The GOP’s far-right fringe says, “Ask yourself if you want socialism instead of your governmental heritage you understood from your father, grandfather and our country founders.”
Can’t make this stuff up.
