School choice seems to have a definite ally in St. Louis City Hall, as All Chilren Matter’s best friend in the state Legislature, state Rep. Jane Cunningham, is said to be playing more than footsies with Robin Wahby, who has been (mis)managing Mayor Francis G. Slay’s well intentioned efforts at public school reform. With Ed Martin’s desk sitting right next to the governor’s, this dovetails nicely with Slay’s rumored attempt to pawn the city schools off on the state.
