African American enrollment at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville increased more than 22.7% from last fall as the university also welcomed its largest incoming class on record.
The incoming class grew 27.7%, from 1,825 students in fall 2025 to about 2,330 this fall. Latinx enrollment increased more than 17.6%.
Undergraduate enrollment also rose 10.8% in the School of Business and 8.7% in the School of Education, Health and Human Behavior.
