I’ve been supportive of my friend Sherman George and have personally told him so, though I would have liked to see a compromise worked out. Though I am not one to take joy in another’s misfortunes, when I ran against Slay for mayor (for the second time) in 2005, I referred to him and his group as “bullies, punks and thugs.” Where were all those opposing Slay now, then?
