“font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>When it comes to this scripture, most people refer to God’s manifestation of His presence in a church setting and experience freedom from any bondage that was present in their lives.
“font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>It is expedient that such manifestations do occur because it is God’s will for His people to live a full, prosperous life, according to 3rd John 2nd verse: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers” (Amplified).
“font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>I believe the Lord was revealing unto me that some of us have limited Him to just a church setting and have not allowed Him to come into our homes, businesses, relationships, marriages, etc., and the deepest arena of our hearts like He desires.
“font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>To be emancipated means to be free from restraint, control, or the power of another.
“font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”> We can look at the enemy as “the power of another” and the emancipation that God wants us to experience is being free from his wiles (deception), as in Ephesians 6:11.
“font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>The enemy is a strategist and his biggest agenda is to block us from reading, studying and doing the Word of God. The deception he has launched against Believers in the past few years is for us to think because we come to church and carry out some type of duty or call that we have done the Word of God which is true to a certain extent, but not all.
“font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>Matthew 7:21 declares, “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but He who does the will of My Father who is in Heaven.” Amplified
“font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>God wants us to do the Word of God in conduct (behavior) and doctrine.
“font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>If we believe in what we are reading, teaching and preaching there should be evidence of God’s Spirit controlling our lives.
“font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>I can’t have the Word of God and not speak to you. I can’t have the Word of God and not walk in love with you. I can’t have a business built on the Word and be dishonest. I can’t proclaim my Christianity at work and be unfaithful. I can’t have a call on my life, but I myself cannot practice the very thing that I tell others what to do.
“font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>What is happening? I am not free! I have a form of godliness, but I deny the power (dunamis), the Strength of the Word to bring my life to freedom from the bondages that are in my soul.
“font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>As we allow the Spirit of the Lord to have pre-eminence in our lives, He will shine a light in those areas where the enemy has hidden – 1st John 3:8
