Are you a believer who has had a consistent prayer life yet very little success? Do you spend time in the word of God reading and meditating and yet there is little or no consistent victory in your life? Are you plagued every day with negative thoughts and images that are designed to keep you down? Well, you may not know how to answer these questions because many people are not even award of what is happening to them on a daily basis.
The mind of man is powerful. Whatever you consistently think about or picture in your mind, you will eventually speak out of your mouth. Once a thought is pictured and believed to be true and it is spoken out of your mouth you will become the recipient of what you think and say.
God has orchestrated a wonderful plan for your life. His desire is to see you live a victorious life. God would not tell you that He would meet all of your needs and then hold back from you the things that are needed to achieve success in your life. Your battle for success and overcoming power is in your mind. Any amount of doubt or fear will hinder God’s plan for your life from being fulfilled.
You may love God with all your heart, serve Him in many ways, give consistently through your church and still not experience the fulfillment of your desired goals and dreams.
The enemy of your soul (your mind, will and emotions) will do everything possible to keep you from understanding how the mind really works. He wants you to remain blinded to the truth about your success in life. When you are walking in spiritual blindness, you just think that God did not want you to have the desires of your heart. Once you confess failure out of your mouth, you must get what you say.
If victory is to be a way of life, you must cast down every negative imagination. In order to cast down negative thoughts, you must first deny that they are true. God is not a God of sickness and disease, lack or poverty. He is the God of more than enough. Therefore, when thoughts of lack and limitations come, you must know that they are not from God. Use the weapons that have been given to you to cast down any thing that would come against God’s plan for your life.
Your weapons are powerful through God to pull down any negative thought that would attempt to make you believe that failure is for God’s people. The word of God is one of your most powerful weapons. When destructive thoughts appear in your mind, learn to replace them with the word of God. In the Word of God are numerous promises. You must learn to turn a negative thought into a positive by speaking the Word to the unproductive thought. God’s word will cause the negative thought to leave your mind.
The enemy knows whether you are strong or weak in the word. If you are weak in the faith and have little or no knowledge of the power of God’s word, you are a prime candidate for continuous attacks in your mind. Do not allow yourself to perish because of a lack of knowledge. Submit yourself to God through the study of His word. Learn to pray the word. Live by the word and expect the word to work through your life.
Your ability to cast down negative images and overcome the tricks and schemes of the enemy will be determined by how consistent you are in applying the word of God to your life. God is not going to stop the onslaught of the enemy’s plan to destroy you. God has given to His children the power to overcome any and every evil work of the enemy. You must understand how to use the Word of God to destroy the works of the devil.
The victory that God has ordained for your life is waiting for you. God does not change His mind. He still wants you to prosper and live in good health. He still wants you to live the abundant life. He still wants you to be an overcomer. He still wants you to be the head and not the tail. God’s desire for your life will never change. Without knowledge of how to tap into the things that God has plan for our lives, we will always live beneath our rights and privileges.
You must become keenly aware of what thoughts you allow to linger in your mind. Make sure your mind is filled with all that is good, positive and designed to lead you to a life of victory.
