“Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will get it.” Mark 11: 23-24 (AMP)
So many of God’s children are living beneath the plan and privileges that have been ordained for their lives. Outward circumstances often stand in the way of the victory that God wants to see manifested for each of his children. God’s people are perishing because of a lack of knowledge and understanding.
A few weeks ago, a scripture became a reality for me like never before. I realized that you can read a scripture and even know it word for word, but unless you get the revelation from that word, change will not come into your life.
In Numbers 14: 34, God spoke these words to the children of Israel. “After the number of the days in which you spied out the land (of Canaan), even forty days, for each day a year shall you bear and suffer for your iniquities, even for forty years, and you shall know my displeasure,(the revoking of my promises and My estrangement).” God is saying to his people “Because you doubted my word of promise and disobeyed me, you will suffer a year for each day of your sins.”
God does not change. His promises do not change. Many of his people today are paying an awesome price for doubt and unbelief – which have played a major role in the defeat that exists in the lives of God’s people today.
Are you allowing doubt to hinder God’s blessing from flowing into your life? Do you limit what God wants to do through your life because of doubt? Well, it is my prayer that you will allow your eyes to be opened to this evil spirit that desires to see you live in failure and defeat.
Take the time to listen to words that are coming forth out of your mouth each day. When you read the word of God that says, “With God all things are possible,” what does that mean to you?
Your blessing will come through a faith-filled heart, a mind overflowing with unlimited expectations and a mouth that releases nothing but positive words. God has so much for his children that he wants to see manifested in their lives. His love for us is so great. He wants to open pathways for us to receive the desires of our hearts. Do not be guilty of allowing doubt to keep you from receiving all that God has in store for you and your family.
If you do not doubt you can have what you say. If you trust God, your prayers will be answered.
Take sometime and repent of every doubtful word or thought. Ask God’s forgiveness and seek restoration for all the blessings that you have missed because of doubt. Get excited and begin to thank God for a turn around in your life. No more lack, failure, defeat, sickness or disease. You are about to see the manifestation of God’s overcoming power in your life. Believe and receive all that God has for you and your household.
