“If you will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessing shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God.” Deut. 28:1-2 (Amplified Bible)
The scripture reference for this week is a promise from God. We know that all His promises are yes and amen (so be it) all to His glory and honor. God has told His people that if you obey His word and become a doer of the word, He would bless you. This is so simple yet so many people make it complicated. We, for some reason, just cannot believe that if we obey God and walk by faith and not by sight, we can have what we say.
God’s word is the same yesterday, today and forever more. All that is needed is for a faith-filled believer to trust God’s , speak the desires of their heart and walk continuously by faith.
The voice of the Lord is the Word of the Lord. Each day of your life you must allow the Voice of the Lord to speak faith-filled words into your spirit. Each time you digest the word into your spirit it will expand your faith. “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The word “cometh”, means continuous. In other words every time you receive the word of God in your heart, more faith comes. God’s power is increased by faith.
Is God’s power living in you? Do you have an inseparable relationship with God through Jesus Christ? If you answered yes then you have in you what it takes to see the blessings of the Lord become a reality in your life. The first step is to know that you have the power of God at your disposal. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead now abides in your earthen vessel. You have been empowered to do great exploits that will bring glory and honor to God. Get rid of the doubt, fear, low self esteem, worry and stress and begin to live by the word of God. The only way to rid yourself of these negative qualities is to replace them with the word of God.
Second, you must speak only what the word says about you and your achievements. Luke 1:37 says, “For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.” When you speak forth only what you want and expect to happen in you life, you will get what you say. God’s word has power when it is released out of you. The more of God’s word that you speak and act upon the greater will be the blessing.
If you are living in fear and worry today, God’s blessings cannot and will not be manifested in your life. God cannot released the blessings into your life where fear exist. No matter what your circumstance, no matter how long they may have existed, no matter how horrible things may be it can and will change. The power to bring about that change is living in you. God uses you, the believer, to accomplish His desires for their lives. What you think, what you say, what you believe, what you act upon will determine the amount of success you will achieve. You must become keenly aware of the power that lives in you. When you speak that power is released. When you speak negative, you will reap negative results. When you speak only what you want no matter how horrible things may look you must expect to receive what you have spoken. You can have what you say! Speak what you desire to see happen in your life then take the necessary action. Once you have done all you know to do, stand on the word of God. Hear God saying to you through His word; ” This Book of the Law (The Word of God) shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.” (Joshua 1:8) Keep speaking the word over your life. Go to bed with the desires of your heart in your mind and mouth. Get up thanking God for what He is about to do in your life. When this lifestyle exist on a daily basis watch the blessings begin to flow into your life. Doors will open, opportunities will come, circumstances will change and you will begin to see the blessings of the Lord come upon you and overtake you just as God promised.
