“As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, (so) walk (regulate your lives and conduct yourselves) in union and conformity to Him. Have the roots (of your being) firmly and deeply planted (in Him fixed and founded in Him), being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving.” Col. 2:7-8 (Amplified Bible)
Living by faith must become a way of life. The seed of faith has been given so that you could live the abundant life while overcoming every obstacle that may come your way.
The journey through life will hold many challenges and problems. The enemy of your soul will make sure that you endure many afflictions. The Bible lets us know that he(satan) who is your enemy, “comes to steal kill and destroy.” His job is to make sure that your faith is aborted and everything that you attempt to do fails. Remember satan is a spirit, so he does not want your house, car or job. He wants you. When doubt, fear, depression and worry creeps into your heart, failure is sure to follow. When failure is running rampant, God is usually the blame.
Blaming God for your failures in life will usually create a desire to turn from Him. When a person turns from God their faith is shattered. A lack of faith in God will shut down His power that lives in you. God is not your problem. Your lack of knowledge and understanding of who you are and how to release the God given faith that lives in you will hinder your success in life.
When faith is lacking you have set yourself up for continued failure in life. “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” Without faith operating in your life the blessings which are the resources and opportunities that God makes available to you will be shut down or cut off from you. No matter what you do, nothing good will come forth. Faith is the power from God that opens doors, moves obstacles, causes individuals to say yes when they wanted to say no. It is your invisible source of strength that moves mountains when it is released through you life. Faith must be spoken and acted upon.
The word of God spoken out of your mouth and mixed with unwavering faith will cause any mountain of circumstance to be cast into the sea. In other words, you will never have to be challenged by that problem again.
How does faith sound? Faith calls the things that you desire to change or see manifested in your life as though they already exist. This means that you do not try to figure out how they are going to happen or who God is going to use to bring the desire to pass. Your responsibility is to believe that you receive.
How does faith act? When faith is in full action the believer is consistent in thanking God for what He has done through their lives before it is manifested. Because you know that it is coming and nothing and nobody but you can stop it, you rejoice with great expectancy.
How does faith look? When faith is operating through your life it becomes easy to stand and wait. This standing does not mean that you do nothing. It does mean that you do all that you need to do and when you have done all then you stand and wait for the manifestation. You can wait with an abundance of excitement because you know that God’s power has been released through your life out into the universe. The releasing of God’s power through the spoken word and thoughts will cause a universal principle to shift into action. You will reap what you sow. Faith released through words is a seed sent out into the universe that will produce a harvest. When it is watered with praise and thanksgiving absolutely nothing can stop the fulfillment of the desire.
Your walk of expectancy which is faith put into action will open doors for you and produce unlimited resources beyond what you could ever ask or think possible. God, by His power of faith, will prepare a table of unlimited possibilities that will cause your cup of blessings to run over. You will find that goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life and you will live in the presence of the Lord’s blessings forever and ever.
Let this day become the first day of the rest of your life. Shift into high gear. Seek God’s Spirit for purpose and direction for your life. If you ask Him, He will answer. Then begin to take steps of faith based on what the Holy Spirit has dropped into your heart. Once you know you have heard from God, start walking toward your destiny. God’s purpose and plan for your life is waiting for you to take steps of faith and open the door to unlimited resources that God has prepared for you.
