“I prayed and nothing happened.” This statement has been voiced millions of times by people who love God. They prayed and expected to get results that did not come. But the question that exist is, did they pray in line with the word of God?
God cannot lie. He has spoken in His word that prayer will release unlimited power out into the universe causing what has been spoken in faith to become a reality. Prayer does work but the believer must know how to work prayer. If you work the word of God in prayer or any aspect of your life, the word of God will work for you.
Prayer is releasing God’s power out into the universe with the expectation of seeing results. God has spoken that we can have what we say. Therefore when one of His children goes before His presence with faith in his heart and submits to God the request for what is needed or desired, the expected answer will come. You might be saying, I tried that and it did not work. Well, let’s see if we can reason together and discover why you are not getting answers to your prayers.
Mark 11: 24 tells us,” For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe trust and be confident that it is granted to you, and you will get it.” You may need to read this passage of scripture over and over until it gets down into your spirit (heart). These are the words of Jesus saying, “you can have what you speak or say.” Your words have power because the power source, which is the Spirit of Christ, is living in you. If you pray failure and defeat, you will continue to reap what you speak. If you pray and consistently speak success and victory, you will get what you say and believe
God already knows all about your problems. He knows the circumstances that exist in your life. Prayer gives you the opportunity to tell Him what you want to take the place in your life. In other words stop praying the problem and start speaking only what you want to become a manifestation in your life.
You must reprogram yourself to never talk about the problem, the circumstances, the need or past hurts. When these things are spoken out into the universe they will produce after their kind. Please understand, when you continue to speak the problem often out of frustration and anxiety, you will get more of the problem.
For years I prayed the problem. Talked about the circumstances. My situation did not change. Instead, it got worst. I was in church every time the doors opened. I was an obedient giver. Even with attendance and obedience in giving, I was not experiencing the blessings that God promised in His word. The reason that failure and defeat existed was a lack of understanding of how to pray effectively. So I begin to search the scriptures and read all that I could find on prayer. What I found was that I was consistent in praying the problems that existed in my life. If I did not pray the problem, I kept talking about my problems and my conversation canceled out my prayers.
Are you canceling out your prayers? Do you pray for a situation and then continue to talk about that problem? Do you allow frustration and worry to provoke you to speak the problem or circumstance? Do you pray and then worry? Well, until you stop doubting and worrying about the challenges that are going on in your life, you will not be able to get rid of the things that you no loner desire in your life.
You must trust God. His word will never fail you. Living by the word of God will always bring you the victory. God is saying to you, My child, “you can have what you say.” You must stop saying what you have or what is going on in your life that you do not want. Begin today to speak only what you desire to see manifested in your life. God would not tell you that prayer works and then let you fail. Your failure is coming because of a lack of knowledge of how to prayer effectively. It is time to speak what you want, believe that you have it, thank God for it, do all that needs to be done physically and then wait for the manifestation. While you are waiting, close your mouth. Do not talk about your problem any more. You have given the problem to Jesus and He has interceded for you to your Heavenly Father. If you asked in faith, whatever was spoken has been granted. Start to thank Him before you see the blessing come into your life. Wait with expectancy and never doubt that it won’t come. This method gives your prayers power.
Pray the promises of God. Believe that what you have spoken in faith will become a reality. The most powerful weapon against failure and defeat in life is prayer. Don’t allow the enemy to trick you any longer. There is power in prayer. Start each day by speaking what you want to happen and expect that what you speak will take place. “YOU CAN HAVE WHAT YOU SAY! GIVE YOUR PRAYERS POWER.
