To celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Breakfast Club, Inc. and Centennial Christian Church will hold the first Sing Out for a Cure gospel benefit concert Sunday, October 9 at 3 p.m. The concert will take place at Centennial Christian Church, 4950 Fountain Avenue.
Invited guests include Chrystal Hill, Karen Hylton, Jeanette White, One Accord Ministry and the Witness Project.
Proceeds from the concert will go towards helping the Breakfast Club, Inc. carry out its mission in the community. Uninsured and underinsured women benefit from services provided by Breakfast Club, Inc.
The Breakfast Club, Inc. meets at Centennial Church once a month from 9 a.m. until noon. The group is comprised of African-American women who on a monthly basis to discuss cancer and other health issues facing African American women.
