“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests) with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.” Phil. 4:6 (Amplified Bible)
Prayer is the power source that opens the channel of blessings into the life of every faith-filled believer. When there is a lack of prayer in your life, there will be failure. Without a consistent prayer life we are doomed to failure.
God would not tell His children to pray and then not grant them the answer. So if you are praying in line with the word of God there should be results. Sadly to say this is not always the case. I believe that there are thousands of God’s children who love and serve Him yet, they are not getting answers to their prayers. There are individuals who have been praying for many years and have not received the blessings that they desire from the Lord.
What is the reason for this lack of success in prayer? Is God a respecter of persons? Does God respond with a yes to certain people and then to others their prayers are denied? If you think that this is true then you really do not know God. Our Heavenly Father is no respecter of persons and He cannot lie. So, the problem of unanswered prayer lies with His children.
I prayed for years and never got an answer. I went to prayer and Bible study religiously and faithfully and never got the request I desired of the Lord. I taught the word for years and still I did not get the results I desired in prayer. It wasn’t until I begin to ask God to show me what was wrong with my prayers did I get the knowledge to know how to pray and get results.
If you want to see the results you desire from God never pray the problem.
When you pray the problem you reinforce the negativity that you are trying to overcome. Always pray the solution. Believe and speak only what you desire to receive. In other words if you need a job, you must speak, ” I now have a job.” Give the job a name. The more specific you are the greater will be your reward. God already knows your needs. He needs you to speak out of your heart what you desire to receive. Never prayer the problem.
Never pray the circumstances. Remember, God’s eyes are upon us at all times. He knows the circumstances that you are challenged with. You do not need to tell Him about all your troubles or what someone is doing to you. When you are under an attack from the enemy, God needs you to fight with the word not with anger or frustration. He will not be able to respond to the need when you focus on the negative circumstances.
God only responds to His word. He can not answer with a yes when you fear,doubt, worry or become bitter and angry because of negative circumstances. But, when you give Him back His word and stand in faith nothing wavering, all things become possible.
It is God’s word spoken in faith that opens doors to victory. If you are going to experience victory in your life, the word of God will become the master key that will move mountains of circumstances out of the way. Your words alone have no power. But, when you add the word of faith to your words all thing become possible.
It is God’s desire that you live a victorious life. He gets no glory out of your failure. Never think that God does not love you and desire to see you live the abundant life that has been promised. Never think that He loves others more than you. This way of thinking is a lie from the pit of hell. God just needs you to know how to operate in His word. Without knowledge of the word, you will fall prey to the tricks of the enemy.
If you want to experience victory in your life, living by the word of God is your passport to success. Pray with confidence. Pray with boldness. Pray with assurance. Pray knowing that God is a prayer hearing and answering Father. When you pray the promises that He has spoken in His word, you can wait patiently for the results because they will become a reality in your life.
