At the beginning of the year 2005 there were numerous prophecies spoken as to what God was going to do this year. Many have been waiting with expectation for what they heard from the prophets that spoke a word concerning God’s desire to bless His people.
I believe that the prophetic words that were spoken were true, but there must be activity on the part of the believer in order to see the manifestation that is going to come from a move of God.
In the Old Testament, when God spoke a word to His people concerning His purpose for their lives, He always followed with a detailed plan. There was always something that the people had to do to walk in victory.
Even though God told Joshua that the Promised Land was given to Him, there was something that Joshua had to do. Joshua had to go up and possess the land. God was with Him through every battle but, he had to fight the battle.
God works through people. It takes a body to accomplish the work that God wants achieve. God, by His Spirit sends His plans into the hearts and minds of men and women to be carried out in faith. He tells us to walk by faith and not by sight. We are not to wait but walk. When God talks about waiting He is referring to the attitude of your heart. There must be an inner peace that allows you to move with expectancy without any fear or doubt.
Many of you are in need of a breakthrough but have not taken steps to ensure that you are positioned to receive from God. I believe that everything that God does requires a faith-filled believer working in harmony with Him to bring it to pass. God needs you actively involved with Him so that He can show Himself strong in your life. He lives in you and desire to work through you.
There is mighty power living in you just waiting to be tapped. When a believer acknowledges that power and begins to walk by faith toward the plan and purposes set forth by God for their lives, nothing will be withheld from them. God will pour the richest blessings, in any area, into their lives beyond what they thought possible.
Action must be taken in order to ignite the release of a blessing. See yourself in partnership with God. You do your part with the confidence that God will always do His part. In other words, you and God are partners. He is the senior partner. He produces the fuel and power needed to carry out His plan. You supply the faith and physical action needed to create a full and complete manifestation of the promises of God.
I believe that during the month of June believers will begin to see a mighty outpouring of God’s power being manifested through their lives. Right before the blessings begin to be released, there will be many challenges. The enemy will do everything in his power to get God’s people to walk in fear, doubt and unbelief. Temporary setbacks will occur. It will look like you are walking backwards instead of forward. During these times of tests and trials, you must remain strong.
During the next few weeks, I will be giving you steps that I believe must be taken if you want to experience the outpouring that God is going to rain down on His people.
From now on, there must be a walk of faith that exists in your life. Trust God. Believe His Word. Regardless of what you see, expect God to move through your life and meet every one of your needs. See the end results and give your full attention to what you know that God is going to do.
Confess the blessings of God over your life all throughout the day. Start your day with positive confessions. Before you go to bed be sure to end your day with positive affirmations. There is power in your words. Be careful to speak the word only as it relates to what you expect to receive from God. Put a guard over your mouth. Resist idle talking, jousting or joking. This form of speaking often allows the believer to loose something that you never intended to say. Be careful what you say. A negative word spoken before others often brings forth agreement. When two or more agree on earth whether positive or negative it shall come to pass.
If you are going to reign victorious, you must resist the works of the devil in your life. Draw your strength and power from the Almighty One. God has placed His power within you. Begin to use that power to release the blessings that you need in your life. Remember, God is on your side. He will never fail or forsake you. Stand strong in the face of temporary challenges and expect a breakthrough or a miracle in the form of the blessing that you need and desire from God.
You have a partner that will never fail you. Trust God to be God in your life. Speak forth your victory now! Call those things that you desire as though you have them now. Wait patiently for God knowing that He will hear and answer.
