“I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me (I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency.” Phil. 4:13 (Amplified Bible)
One of the main keys that will allow God’s children to experience victory and success at a greater level in 2006 is knowledge and understanding of who you became through your relationship with Christ. Your understanding of your new identity will determine your attitude, daily walk and expectations. You now have the power to become a doer of the word and not simply a hearer only.
There is inner strength living on the inside of you providing the power and ability needed to put you over. The power to overcome and the strength to persist even when it appears that the situation facing you is impossible will rise up in you and create a climate for success.
When God snatched you out of darkness and positioned you to live a life of victory, you received all that you need to bring down the mountains of defeat, fear; worry stress, sickness and disease and poverty. Your new identity now gives you the power to open closed doors and move obstacles out of your way.
Your Heavenly Father would not tell you that you are an “overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony”, and then allow you to live a life of failure and defeat. God’s word is truth and He cannot lie. If God is faithful and His word will stand forever then, the problems that we face do not have to remain and become a way of life. You have the power to live a victorious life.
2006 will be no different from 2005 if God’s children do not take positive steps toward a set of goals with the determination that you cannot and will not failure. His power will go to work through you to open doors and tear down temporary strongholds that will appear to be impossible to move.
Do not let January end without having set in motion a plan based on the purpose and destiny that God has set forth for your life. Develop and inner drive that will create in you the will to persist even when there appears to be no way out of a negative situation.
The way you see yourself, the attitude that you embrace daily and the activity that you engage in will determine the amount of success that you will experience. You have power to overcome any and every negative encounter. Make sure that your words are in line with God’s promises. Circumstances and situations may not change immediately, but if you do not change your confession and stop walking toward your destiny, all things will become possible.
Every one of God’s children is a part of a royal family. You are heir to all that your Father owns. The portion of His inheritance will never become yours until you begin to accept and acknowledge your kinship. Your Spiritual Father holds the wealth of the world in His hands and a portion of His wealth has been willed to you. When this knowledge takes root in your heart and you begin to live and walk through your God-given identity, all things will become possible.
When failure and defeat are lurking around our lives the ability to overcome seems hard and often impossible. When trouble and afflictions come knocking at your door it appears that there is no way out of the maze that exists in your life. You must not allow the temporary challenges and setbacks keep you from experiencing all that God has for you. Keep the word of God ever before your eyes. Get up with truth. Lie down at night with truth. Take truth with you all day long and watch what God will be able to accomplish through life.
God is not the author of failure, confusion, lack or sickness. Do not waste time asking questions like, “why is God letting this happen to me? If He is really God, why want He change the situation? If He has so much power why can’t or won’t He give me what I need to get me out of this situation?” Not until you understand whom you are in Christ will you be able to never ask these kind of questions.
God’s power works through His children. Even though He is God, He has given His authority and dominion to His children here on earth. Without knowledge and understanding of how to release God’s power out of your life, you will fail and it will look like God has forsaken you. Your destiny will be aborted and life will appear to be filled with endless failures.
Let this be a year that you draw daily from the inner strength and power that now lives in you. If you do not know how to release this power ask God by His Spirit to give you insight and wisdom. He has promised to give you all that you need. Ask for His help, guidance, ability and understanding and watch God go to work on your behalf to give you direction and guidance that will allow you to begin the walk of victory and success that belongs to all of His children.
