“Thank God in everything (no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks) for this is the will of God for you (who are in Christ Jesus (the revealer and Mediator of that will.” I Thess. 5: 18 (Amplified Bible)

How do you start your day? Do you wake up worrying about the weather or hating to get up out of bed? Do you focus on the events of the day and become depressed wishing that you could return to bed? The way you start and end you day has a lot to do with the outcome of the events of your day. What you speak and think will determine how much success or failure you experience.

God has ordained a way of life that will allow His children to live victoriously. His desire for us is to see us “prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers.” Prosperity is more than material things. It is so much more than money, clothes, cars and houses. God’s peace is worth millions. To be able to lie down at night and get up each morning in peace is a blessing from God. This can only happen when we live the abundant life through Jesus Christ.

Experiencing divine health or knowing that your body can and will be healed is prosperous living. This is an area that most people take for granted. God wants us to be complete in every area of life. Walking in divine health is living a prosperous life. His desire is that His children live with good health. Make a decision to decree what God wants for you.

Knowing that God’s plan for your life is success and now failure, victory and not defeat should give you the motivation to trust Him and take Him at His word. He has told His children to give thanks in every situation and circumstance. No matter what may be going on, God wants us to rejoice and be thankful.

Praise and thanksgiving is the way that believers touch the heart of God. Our Heavenly Father is glorified when we praise Him. When we offer up praise on a consistent basis, God has promised to live in our praise. This means that His power and ability is released through us to a greater extent.

The Bible lets us know that blessings are released when we praise and thank God consistently. I believe this is why The Psalmist David “blessed the Lord at all times.” The praises of God was consistently in His mouth. When you start your day thanking and praising God with a positive outlook expecting God’s word to be manifested through your life, the earth will yield its increase. When you go through the day blessing the name of the Lord and being thankful for all that He is about to do, expect the earth to yield an increase. When everything looks bad and there seems to be no way out of a negative situation, praising God in the midst of the problem will remove the strongholds.

The harvest that you experience each day is dependent on your level of praise. Don’t allow yourself to miss what God wants to do through your life because of your lack of praise and thanksgiving. No matter what may be happening, give thanks to God. You are not thanking Him for the problems, instead you are thanking Him that you have gone through the negativity and come out in victory.

Through prayer and praise we can conquer any problem and know that we will reign in victory. Whatever you need or desire in life trust God who is your provider to meet all your needs. Before you see the manifestation of the blessings thank Him. Make your daily walk a walk of faith, praise and thanksgiving. When your praise becomes consistent morning noon and night, coupled with a positive attitude with high expectations, Our God, your God, my God will bless you more and more.
