Special to The American
At 28, Anthony S. McCaa Sr. says he isn’t your typical senior pastor, and New Life Fellowship isn’t your typical church.
“We always push the envelope in regards to tradition,” McCaa said. “At New Life, we have always focused on building spiritual relationships, not religion.”
Among accomplishments for the church in the past four years, he cited an AIDS and STD community forum, church service at a nursing home, back-to-school drives giving away school supplies and membership growth.
“This fourth year truly marks the year when big things happen,” McCaa said.
New Life Fellowship Church, 8310 Olive Blvd., celebrated the anniversary with special guests Pastor Raynard Hillis of Community Christian Fellowship in Dallas, Texas, Kenneth DeShields, Minister Eddie Truman, the Prince of Peace Male Chorus and the Matthew 12:28 Mime Ministry.
