“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter and day and night shall not cease.” Gen. 8:22

In order for believers to tap into a harvest they must understand the principle of sowing and reaping. Farmers understand this process and they make their living by it. It is very clear to a farmer that if he does not sow there will be no harvest to reap. God lets us know in Gal. 6:7b “For whatever a man sows that and that only is what he will reap.” You must sow if you want to reap.
Individuals who make their living in Corporate America understand this process. Any major corporation has a foundation program that allows them to give or sow back into the community a portion of the proceeds that they have received from their business. They understand that if they keep sowing they will continue to reap a harvest.
When the people of God come into full knowledge of how the kingdom of God operates there will be no lack or limitation existing in their lives. God has set up provision for you to be blessed in every area of you life. He has made available to you everything that you could ever need. You must understand how to tap into the blessings that you need and desire.
Joshua !:8 gives insight into how to make sure that you walk in prosperity consistently. The word tells you, “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.” The answer to your physical, emotional or financial need is found in the word of God. It is not enough to read it, you must walk according to the word of God. God has promised that if you obey and live by His Word you will have good success.
Your harvest is going to come out of the seed that you sow. If you desire to experience the overflow you must sow bountifully. If you desire love and positive relationships with friends and family you must give love and show yourself to be a friend. If you are believing God for a healing in your body and you continue to speak sickness and disease the words spoken will produce a harvest of sickness. Everyday you are sowing even though you may not realize it. Every thought that you think is a seed. Every word that you speak is a seed. Every action that you take is a seed. It is important that you are sowing daily the kind of seed that will produce the harvest that you desire.
Just as sure as winter will follow summer and there will hot days and cold days; harvest will follow seeds sown. Once this principle gets into your spirit and you begin to live daily by, you will begin to see the manifestation of God’s word in your life. God’s word cannot return back to Him void. If you live by the word of God, you will experience the abundant life.
Don’t let the year go out without taking the action necessary to begin to live a life that is overflowing with the blessings of God. Your faith which is your belief, plus your knowledge and understanding of how to apply God’s word coupled with corresponding action will open the door to unlimited blessings.
You are now in the season of harvesting. Don’t let this moment pass you by. Don’t become one of the millions of believers who will miss what God wants to do in their lives. There is a harvest of blessings just waiting to be tapped. Because God has given you authority and dominion in the earth, what you say and do will have a definite affect upon the release of your harvest.
If you sow and then speak lack you cancel your harvest. If you sow and then walk in fear and doubt you dig up your seed and there will be no harvest. There must be a daily lifestyle of sowing in every area of your life so that there can be a consistent harvest. Ask God to give you a sowing or planting spirit. Develop a burning desire to give and then obey God and watch the universe respond with a harvest that will be beyond what you even thought to ask or believe that you would receive.
There is still time to experience the overflow before the end of the year 2005. Get excited about what is about to happen to you before you experience it. Begin to speak the end result before you see it. Start praising and thanking God for what He is going to do in your life. Wake up with a praise and thanksgiving on your lips. Thank Him for the seed that is about to produce a harvest. Call your seed full grown and expect it to produce after its kind. This is your season for a breakthrough in any area of your life. Don’t miss what God wants to do through your life.
Make a commitment today that you will become consistent in your sowing and then watch God go to work and release a harvest that is beyond what you ask or think because of His power that is at work in you.
