What makes God’s Word so powerful? Why is it that we can put all of our trust and confidence in the word and know that it will never let us down? First of all, you must know who the word is. John 1:14 tells us, “The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw His glory as of the one and only Son of God, full of grace and truth.”
Jesus is the word. Every time you speak the word of God in faith you are releasing God’s power upon that situation. Even though we cannot not see the move of the word in the physical, but, by faith we believe that the word is full of supernatural power that is able to travel to any location regardless of distance. God’s word is able to accomplish for you what nothing else on the face of the earth can do.
The greatest challenge that we face is knowing and believing that the word of God is able to work miracles in our lives. A lack of knowledge and understand is often the reason why we do not grab hold of the word of God. The one area that is lacking among God’s people is the active application of the Word of God.
If you are going to experience victory in your life, the word must have first place in your heart. There is no way for you to love God and not love His Word. Jesus is the image of his word. He is the power behind His Word. It is time for God’s children to come into the knowledge of the overwhelming power that can provide life-changing experience when you take hold of the word. God’s word must become our life. When we walk in the full knowledge of the authority of the Word of God, nothing will be impossible in our lives.
We are commanded to mediate in the word day and night, speak the word over our problems and walk in the authority of the Word. Use the word as a weapon for spiritual warfare. Seeing the spoken word as a source for overcoming the tricks of your enemy will position you for greatness. Speak the word over your body and receive healing.
When everything else fails, the Word the spoken in faith and believed in your heart will always work. Exercise the faith that God has poured into your life and make a positive demand on His Word and watch your Heavenly Father stretch His Hand of favor over your life.
Make a decree that you will take hold of the Word of God through prayer, daily reading, studying and meditating along with weekly Bible Study. As you release God’s Word out of your heart in faith expect His Spirit to do great and mighty exploits through your life.
