The Missouri Campus Compact and the Missouri Community Service Commission are teaming up to spread the word and encourage schools, not-for-profits and faith-based organizations to get involved in the community on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, Jan. 15, 2007.
By actively participating in the MLK Day of Service and filling out the project proposal, applicants are eligible to receive awards.
To qualify, projects must address a social problem and occur on Monday, Jan. 15, 2007. Project summaries must be submitted electronically by Feb. 1, 2007 to mcsc@ded.mo.gov.
