“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Prov. 29:18
What are your goals and desires for this year? Are you determined that 2010 will not become a duplication of previous years? Even if you experienced a degree of success during 2009, God has more for you.
The desire of our Heavenly Father is that we live a life that is overflowing with one success after another. He desires to see us represent him in the earth.
Every child of God has the ability living within his spirit to achieve anything that can be visualized. Vision is a powerful avenue that God uses to help his children achieve the things that they desire to see manifested through their lives. Seeing through your mind’s eye with faith and expectation is possessing. If you can see it and believe it then the thing that you envision shall become a reality in your life. The degree to which you understand and believe that this process will always work in your life will determine the amount of success that you will have in life.
The word of God tells us to write the vision and make sure that it is written in detail. Definiteness of purpose is very important to your overall success in life. The more clearly you describe the desire of your heart, the greater will be the results that you will experience.
Once it is described in detail, God by his spirit can go to work and bring to past your expected goal.
The word lets us know that we must never have any doubt or unbelief about the things that we have declared to be ours. Hab. 2:3 tells us to wait for it because it will surely come.
There should be no struggle or anxiety if it is temporarily delayed. During this waiting period, we should just begin to wait with excitement – filled with praise and thanksgiving that the answer is on the way.
This way of living allows you to live without stress, worry or anxiety that would only serve to abort the vision.
God’s desire is that you walk in victory for the rest of your life. This way of living can start today. Just knowing that you have enough power living in you to move any negative obstacle should create within you a desire to live only by what the word of promise says about your success in life.
The amount of time that you spend in prayer, reading and meditating on the word, seeing in the spirit and writing the vision and desires of your heart down will determine the amount of success that you will experience this year.
Decide what you want to achieve this year. Believe that God wants you to have the desires of your heart. Begin to practice seeing the things that you desire in your mind.
Write it down, find pictures to help clarify the desires and then go to work and develop a plan to make it happen.
Remember, the Holy Spirit is your eternal partner in every undertaking. Ask for His help. Expect to receive direction and insight so that you will travel a path that will lead to victory. This is your year to overcome every challenge that once had you bound.
Your vision is for an appointed time. It shall not lie, but become a reality in your life. Never give up. Wait for It!
