“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go) in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive your own failings and shortcomings and let them drop. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.”

Are you one of those people who spend a lot of time focusing on the wrong that someone has done to you? Do you major in the minor things of life? Are you hung-up on the past hurts that have been done by someone that you thought was your friend? Are you unwilling to forgive? Well, God wants you to be delivered from the bait of destruction that Satan has set for you.
Anger and unforgiveness are like a cancer that spreads through your mind and soul and creates an environment for destruction physically and emotionally.
Unforgiveness produces anger, jealousy, fear, envy, pettiness, and so many other spirits. It is the bait that Satan uses to put you into a situation that cut off God’s power in your life. God’s word lets you know that if you do not forgive, neither will He forgive you. If there is no forgiveness then there will be no blessings.
I am not a doctor or nurse but the Holy Spirit living in me knows all things about everything. The Spirit is saying that more than seventy-five percent of premature deaths are as a result of unforgiveness, worry, anger, hate, bitterness, and jealousy. I believe that the reason why doctors can’t find the root cause of cancer and several other illnesses is because their origin is found in a spirit that eats away at an individual’s heart until there is a negative manifestation in the body called disease (dis-ease).
The Bible tells us to be anxious about nothing. For many people this is very difficult to do, but we have the perfect example to pattern our lives after. His Name is Jesus the Christ, who paid an awesome price for each of our lives. He cried out, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” If Jesus could forgive those who lied on Him, falsely accused, spat upon, beat and then nailed Him to a cross that He had to carry, what about you?
When we refuse to forgive, God’s power that gives us the victory in every of life is cut off. You are now operating on 1010. The supernatural 220 power that is given to every believer has been turned off. You will now find yourself a victim of one failure after another.
The burden of unforgiveness affects the heart of man. As we are within, so we become externally. Some of the outward signs are wrinkles, overweight, migraine headaches, various sicknesses and diseases, anger outburst, false accusations, gossip, faultfinding and judging.
The antidote for unforgiveness is love. Only unconditional love can bring wholeness back into the life of someone who is bound by the spirit of unforgiveness. We are to love our enemies and do good to those who do any form of evil against us.
God loves all mankind. If you want to see a move of God in your life, make love a priority. Begin by praying for those who have wronged you. Ask God to show you the good in them and then begin to envision them the way God sees them.
If you choose not to love, then God cannot help you. He cannot go against His word. The time to forgive is now. God is just waiting for you to step into that place of success and victory that He has for you. Doors that have been closed will open. Strongholds that have blocked you will come down. Sickness and disease will leave. You will see God by His Spirit do a new thing in your life. Do not allow another day to go by if you have unforgiveness in your heart. This could be your day for the beginning of a mighty breakthrough in your life.
“If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother (in Christ) he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen cannot love God, whom he has not seen.”
