“Not in your own strength, for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you energizing and creating in you the power and desire, both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.” Phil. 2:13 (AMP)

It has been said there are those persons who watch things happen, there are those who let things happen and then there are those who through the creative power of God help to make things happen. The person who helps to make things happen is someone who is filled with passion.

Passion is that inner burning desire that motivates you to continue to pursue a goal until it is completed. The ability to persist until the end is a part of their uniqueness. A passionate person is one who is able to see the end before they start a task. Passion gives them an inner drive that allows them to overcome any obstacle that might stand in their way.

Passion is not something you develop in school. I believe it is a gift given to us by God that burns within with a deep desire to be used for the betterment of mankind.

God has given our 44th President Barack Obama passion. Because he understood his gift, persistence was not a problem. He actually saw the end before he even started the race for the highest position in our country.

Passionate individuals are insightful and creative with goals, dreams and visions that are the foundation their success. The vision that has been planted in their minds is so clear that it give no room for doubt, fear, unbelief or worry. This person knows that there is no failure in God. Therefore, it is just a matter of time before the full manifestation comes.

The have a winning mentality. Sometimes without realizing it, they are calling things that be not as though they were (Rom.4: 17).

This gift of passion is not limited to just a few individuals. You probably have it and just did not know what to do with it or how to put it to work in your life. Do you have a burning desire to see others succeed? When you see individuals suffering and going through trials and tribulations, do you want to help them? Do you have visions of doing a great work for God? Have there been times when you woke up after a dream or vision thinking that you were actually doing the work that you desire in your heart? If you answered yes to each question, all you need to do is seek guidance from the Holy Spirit and get started.

It does not matter how old or young you are. First graders are raising thousands of dollars to help provide clean water in Africa because somebody in the group had a passion for helping others.

Passionate people have the ability to wake-up the passion in others. Their drive is the power of God at work in them. You too can tap into that unlimited source of power and potential and allow God to use you to touch the lives of others. The God power in each of His children is more than enough to reach out and touch someone’s life with a word, song, message, a helping hand or prayer.

During this period of crisis in our country, God needs passionate leaders who are willing to come to the forefront and begin to reach out and touch the lives of hurting people. Someone needs to hear that “all things are possible to him or her that believe.”

Wake up the sleeping giant that lives in you and begin to move by the power of the Holy Spirit. Watch His power create a climate for success that is beyond what you ever thought possible. The time is now. The ball is in your court. Somebody needs you to become an encourager for the trials that they are facing. ________________________________________________________________________Join me each Monday through April 6th for a special teaching designed to open your eyes to the pathway to victory and success.
